What is the residency?

The residency program offers a unique opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds—whether you're an artist, writer, digital creative, researcher, or spiritual seeker—to immerse yourself in your work within a supportive environment. At Held Space, our residency provides a dedicated time and place to focus on your personal and creative projects, with the added benefit of being surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals and the inspiring atmosphere of Porto.

Residency Details:

Dates and Duration: The residency runs from 1-30 November, 2024, offering one, two and month long stays, tailored to fit your creative journey.
Availability: Limited spots available to ensure a personalized and intimate experience. Early applications are encouraged.
Pricing:
- Single bed in a 5-person shared bedroom*: €235/wk
- Single bed in a 2-person shared bedroom*: €300/wk
- King bed in a private bedroom: 1 week single occupancy €535/double occupancy €335 per person
- Private studio apartment with queen bed: 1 week single occupancy €585/double occupancy €375 per person
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms
Prices include accommodation in our serene retreat, access to all creative spaces, free admission to all our regular classes and exclusive discounts on all workshops.
Accommodations will be professionally cleaned each week, including a linen change. Monthly stays receive a 10% discount. Meals are not included.

Included in your stay:

A comfortable bed in a shared room with fellow residents, a private room or a studio apartment.
Use of common spaces including the kitchen, sanctuary, yoga shala, and garden
Free participation in Held’s weekly classes (yoga, meditation, etc.)
Weekly change of linens and towels
Weekly house cleaning

Expectations for residents:

Self-cleanup: Residents are expected to clean up after themselves at all times.
Respect: Maintaining respect for the house, other residents, and the surrounding community is paramount.
No alcohol and no smoking are permitted on the premises.
